Act Local, Shape Tommorow: Lessons from OwnYourSECAP

The online event was hosted as a platform where evolving EU climate policies, structured local climate planning using ISO 50001, and guidance for small municipalities on developing Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs) were presented. Emphasis was placed on real-world examples and case studies, showcasing how local authorities across Europe had implemented climate actions effectively.

Attendees were offered insights through presentations by experts and municipal representatives, with a focus on public engagement strategies and funding opportunities. A special segment was dedicated to EU funding, featuring a presentation by a CINEA representative. The agenda included a variety of speakers covering key topics ranging from policy evolution to energy management and collaborative planning approaches.

The conference was free, online, and open to all, encouraging wide participation in this final event of the OwnYourSECAP project.
