Climate Resilient Europe: Advancing climate adaptation through EU-funded research

Climate adaptation is a cornerstone of the European Union’s response to the escalating impacts of climate change, as outlined in the EU Adaptation Strategy under the European Green Deal. To drive this agenda forward, Horizon Europe’s Cluster 5 Destination 1 supports a diverse set of research and innovation projects aimed at advancing adaptation science and action across regions, sectors and levels of governance. 
This factsheet presents a synthesis of 18 EU-funded projects that are generating actionable knowledge, innovative tools and policy-relevant solutions to strengthen climate resilience in Europe and beyond.
